What can one expect from Gastron Technique

The Graston Technique method was born with the aim of mobilizing the fascial tissue, releasing its restrictions and increasing the reparative processes of a specific tissue area. The effects are: a reduction of the symptom (in case of pain), a greater expression of both strength and flexibility and, therefore, a reduced risk of injury.

Anatomically, the so-called fascia is composed of a series of connective tissue membranes that protect an organ or a complex of organs and have a nourishing function. The fascias also envelop and support the muscles, and in order for these to be strong and flexible it is necessary that the layers of the fascia be able to slide between them. In fact, one of the fundamental functions of the fascia is precisely the transmission of forces: 30-40% of the force generated by a muscle is transmitted by the connective tissue that surrounds it. This explains why fascial tissue health is so important.
